DR NIVEN HUANG, Secretary General, BCSD Taiwan Dr Niven Huang is the Secretary General of the Business Council for Sustainable Development in Taiwan (since May 1997). He is the pioneer in Taiwan for promoting CSR, sustainability reporting, SRI, sustainable sourcing, green purchasing alliance, greenhouse gas inventory and strategy for carbon management. He is invited to give over 100 lectures on sustainability every year in domestic and international events. Before working for Super Max, he worked for YFY paper company as a consultant because of his specialized technical background in fluidization combustion technology.

DR GUO PEIYUAN, General Manager, SynTao
Dr Guo Peiyuan is the co-founder and General Manager of SynTao Co. Ltd, which was founded in 2005. He has been focusing on CSR and SRI in China for a long time. His research papers and articles were published in several journals and magazines, and he has been invited to speak at many international conferences. SynTao aims to provide clients with high quality CSR/SRI research and consulting services using its local network and expertise. SynTao.com, the corporate website, has become one of the most important CSR/SRI information platforms in the region. Dr Guo is a GRI stakeholder council member.

MS MARIKO KAWAGUCHI, Executive Director, Daiwa Institute of Research
Ms Mariko Kawaguchi is Founding Member of the Social Investment Forum Japan and is a Member of Tokyo Metropolitan Office Environmental Committee. She has worked as a securities analyst, consultant of environmental management, and now engages in research of CSR and SRI as well as sustainability reporting. She co-authored the ‘Guide to Socially Responsible Investment’ in 2003. She is Managing Director and Senior Analyst ESG Research Department at the Daiwa Institute of Research. Ms Kawaguchi worked as a head of CSR group at headquarter office of Daiwa Securities Group from April 2010 to June 2011.

MR DAE-WOONG LIM, Managing Director, Eco-Frontier
Dae-Woong Lim is one of the co-founders of Eco-Frontier, which is a sustainability business group. Since its founding in 1995, the company has developed innovative green businesses in ESG research, renewable energy, carbon trading, sustainability investment, Green IT and environmental consultancy in Korea, China, Indonesia, Malaysia, the UK and USA. Eco-Frontier is an official focal point of UNEP/Finance Initiative and technical advisor of Carbon Disclosure Project Korea.
Regarding sustainable finance, he has been involved in series of projects which are about sustainability disclosure, green finance, on and offline training, sustainability and green indexes with the Korea Exchange, and so on. Especially he was invited to a project to develop the National Policy for Green Finance under “the Low Carbon and Green Growth” initiative of Korea as a special advisor in Korea.
He is also the Co-CEO of Eco-Frontier Global Capital and the Director of ASRA(Asia Sustainability Research Alliance). ASRA is a joint venture among SIRIS, OWW and Eco-Frontier Global Capital. The company provides ESG information of 2,000 Asian companies and publishes the AP100 (the most sustainable 100 companies in Asia). He is the Member of Steering Committee of UN Global Compact Korea Network, and Steering Committee of Korea Sustainability Investing Forum. He studied MSc in Environmental Sustainability at University of Edinburgh.
MR BEN RIDLEY, Sustainability Affairs - Asia Pacific Regional Head / VP, Credit Suisse Ben Ridley is Regional Head of Sustainability Affairs for Asia Pacific at Credit Suisse. He has almost 20 years of experience as a sustainability professional working across the Asia Pacific region, and has been resident in Hong Kong throughout this period. At Credit Suisse, Ben is responsible for managing sustainability issues in the region, including technical and reputational assessments of environmental and social (labour, community) matters associated with Bank transactions, and for the management of relationships with key stakeholders including the regional NGO community. Prior to joining Credit Suisse in 2008, Ben worked in environmental consultancy, latterly as Director of the environmental business stream for the East Asia operations of an international consultancy business where he managed or oversaw some 300 projects in support of a broad range of customers primarily involved with manufacturing, waste management, construction and real estate, and private equity. Ben has a bachelor’s degree in Ecology, a Masters degree in Environmental Management, and a professional qualification in solid waste management.
MR SUMANTRA SEN, MCSI, Founder & CEO, Responsible Investment Research Association (RIRA); Managing Partner, Esgalier Advisors LLP.
Sumantra is the Founder and CEO of RIRA, a Not- for- Profit organization that focuses on mainstreaming of Environment, Social & Governance factors into Financial Markets and Investment Management through active inputs in policy, research and overall capacity building. He is the Managing Partner at Esgalier Advisors, a consulting organization that specializes in the areas of Board Development and Impact Investing.
Sumantra is an advisor to the Climate Bond Initiative where he is in the process of building the India Secretariat and has also been appointed as a member at Environment & Energy Committee at Indian Merchant Chambers, Mumbai. Sumantra is a Chartered Wealth Management professional and a Member at Chartered Institute of Securities & Investment, London with over 16 years of exposure to Global capital markets and Investment Management. In the recent assignments, he has managed portfolio analyst teams at some of the leading multi- national banks.

MR ANDREW KWEK, CEO, Singapore Deutsche Asset Management (Asia) Limited and Head of DWS Sales. Joined the Company in November 2005 with 24 years of working experience in the finance industry. Prior to joining, he was executive director for the Investment Management Association of Singapore. Before that, he served as Managing Director for Morley Fund Management (Singapore) Limited. He began his career path in fund management with BNP Paribas Asset Management in 1995 after 14 years in Treasury activities with leading investment banks including BNP Capital Markets, CS First Boston, San Paolo Bank, Continental Bank and Overseas Chinese Banking Corporation. Bsc in Mathematics and Economics from the National University of Singapore; MBA from City University Business School of London.
