| Event Summary |
In order
to demonstrate and ensure good environmental, health, safety
(EHS) or sustainability performance, many companies develop
and implement management systems and EHS programmes. But how
well are these companies actually performing in relation to
their industry peers and world class corporations?
CONTOUR is a leading EHS performance benchmarking tool which
can help provide the answers. Developed by the Confederation
of British Industry (CBI) and being widely adopted in the
UK, CONTOUR enables organizations to benchmark themselves
against world class EHS best practices, measure current performance
levels, and both identify operational strengths and areas
for improvement. Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC) has
joined in partnership with CBI to pioneer the use of CONTOUR
in Hong Kong. Mr. Eric Ching from HKPC, introduced the benefits,
key functions and process of using CONTOUR to benchmark company
performance.
