The energy market is facing major challenges the world over: while global energy demand continues to soar in the long-run, the possibilities for meeting that demand by burning fossil fuels are either limited or becoming socially or politically unacceptable due to the CO2 emissions typically associated with them. Another factor playing an increasingly important role is reliability of supply - in other words the ability to secure a sustainable, reliable and affordable source of energy.

Thiemo Lang will provide an overview of the drivers of growth in the clean energy subsectors such as solar/wind energy, electrical infrastructure, natural gas, energy storage and light emitting diode (LED) Technology.  He expects the increasing need for 'clean solutions' to maintain their strong momentum over the next two decades, enabling us all to continue to flexibly pursue new investment opportunities.

The briefing will be held at 9:00am to 11:00am on 19th March. Registration for the event is free and seats are limited, with priority registration being given to ASrIA members. Please RSVP and let us know if you are able to attend.
