ASrIA, Greenpeace China and WWF Hong Kong would like to invite you to attend the “Sustainable Forestry Investment Forum: Risks and Opportunities in the Asian Forestry Sector”.

The forum will bring together leading financial institutions, forestry industry representatives and civil society experts to focus and engage on current environmental, social and governance risks associated with the forestry industry in Asia and identify opportunities to help promote responsible and sustainable forest use.

Speakers from the Indonesian Institute for Environmental and Natural Resource Economics, Greenpeace and WWF-Indonesia will provide the latest essential data and case studies on:

  • deforestation and global warming
  • trade issues and policy
  • illegal logging and human rights
  • risks associated with the palm oil, pulp & paper and timber products sectors

Investor and forest sector representatives will provide their valuable perspectives and experience.

The final panel will provide an opportunity for you to join the international experts, investor and business leaders to identify opportunities and next steps for investors in Hong Kong to promote responsible and sustainable use of forests in Asia.
