Emma Howard Boyd has been actively involved in socially responsible investment since joining Jupiter Asset Management in 1994. As Head of the Jupiter Environmental Research Unit, and a director of Jupiter Asset Management, she is responsible for analysing the environmental and social performance of companies for Jupiter's SRI funds.

She is Vice Chair of the UK Social Investment Forum, the UK's membership network for socially responsible investment and founding chair of Eurosif, the European Sustainable and Responsible Investment Forum, which was launched in November 2001. She is also a member of the Advisory Committee for FTSE4Good.

Jupiter Asset Management is an investment management subsidiary of Commberzbank AG which manages assets for a range of institutional and private clients. Jupiter manages both segregated and pooled pension funds, charities, investment trusts, unit trusts, OEICs and ISAs. Included in this are several Socially Responsible Investment funds.

Jupiter's experience of managing screened Socially Responsible Investment funds, which dates back over 14years, has enabled the company to develop a leading knowledge of corporate environmental and social performance issues.

In response to demand from Japanese institutions, Jupiter Asset Management in conjunction with Commerz International Capital Management (Japan) has recently launched a new SRI investment fund. Called the Jupiter World SRI Fund it is targeted at Japanese institutional investors and has already raised 3 billion Yen ($25.6m).
