Mizutori is a Principal with Mercer's investment consulting practice in Japan, and is a Executive Vice President and Director of Mercer Human Resource Consulting Ltd. (Japan). Mizutori works mainly with Japanese pension plan sponsors to develop and implement investment strategies for their pension assets. He also manages Mercer's investment consulting practice in Japan. His major clients include Nippon Steel, Honda Motor Corporation and IBM Japan.

Before joining Mercer in 1997, Mizutori worked for more than 12 years as a portfolio manager with the Nippon Credit Bank in both Tokyo and London, including several years based in London with that organization's joint venture with Gartmore. Mizutori is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and a Chartered Member of the Security Analysts Association of Japan (CMA). He holds a B.A. in Economics from Keio University. Mizutori speaks Japanese and English.
