Dr. Aqueel Khan has been Verité's Regional Coordinator for South Asia since 1998, responsible for training and managing the auditor teams in these areas. Among other programs, he is the lead trainer for Verité's Gathering Information From Workers programs.

As the Director of ASK, Aqueel manages the ASK-Sankalp project, which provides a developmental alternative to the working child in India by ensuring his/her basic rights to education, health, adequate nutrition and opportunities for recreation. Aqueel has also worked with UNHCR (UN) India, the Asian Development Bank, numerous corporate partners, and CCF, international human development organization.
