Opportunity International is a global network which is one of the pioneers of microfinance for more than thirty years. Denis Perry was Director and CEO of Opportunity International Australia until October 2003. In this role Denis pioneered partnerships with Corporations in the pursuit of Corporate Philanthropy. Initiated Consulting to Corporations to ensure synergy between profit and not-for-profit goals. Initiated new micro finance start-ups in China and to the indigenous community in Australia.

Appointed to Asia role to broaden Opportunity International’s profile in the Asia region.

Prior to joining Opportunity International in 1996, Denis pioneered a successful NGO in Christchurch New Zealand as Trustee and Director of Kingdom Resources Trust and Kingdom Resources Limited (1990-95). This followed a career in Corporate Banking and Reinsurance.
