ineet Vohra heads the Investments Business in the Global Consumer Group for Citibank in Asia Pacific. He is responsible for the development, management, sales and marketing of a range of investment products around the region to mass and affluent investors via an advisory platform which includes proprietary research, sophisticated investment tools, skilled specialists and well trained relationships managers through Citibank’s distribution network.

Vineet oversees a business with over $18bn in assets from more than 300,000 customers in 11 countries, providing managed offerings such as mutual funds, managed accounts and unit investment trusts, alternative investment offerings such as hedge funds and structured notes, and brokerage offerings such as equity, bonds, ETFs and warrants.

He has been with the Regional Investments Business since 1997 and, prior to this role, held portfolios in product, marketing and sales. During this time, he has been instrumental in the opening up of new markets, the addition of leading third-party fund managers, the introduction of proprietary fund rating systems, the development of alternative pricing choices, the launch of core and alternative investment offerings, the integrated offering of research driven client solutions, and the launch of the Wealth Management business in the region.

Vineet joined the Bank in India in 1988 as a Management Associate, and has held positions in branch sales management, offshore bank marketing, financial control in India and treasury marketing in Singapore. He holds degrees in Engineering and Management from Indian universities and the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.

An Indian national, Vineet and his wife Shilpi have a son and a daughter.
