  ASrIA Annual Conference 2004
15-16 July 2004
VENUE: GOODWOOD PARK HOTEL, SINGAPORE
WELCOME TO THE POST CONFERENCE SITE

It is immodest to claim that your own conference was a success. With that caveat, we must nonetheless say a huge thank you to our sponsors and the many participants who made ASrIA's Third International Conference in Singapore such a groundbreaking event. When the conference was still in the planning process, the ASrIA team was conscious that we were presuming a greater level of knowledge of SRI in Asia than might have made sense even a year ago. Our goal this year was to try to bring experts together to talk about what they are doing and what is working in the SRI world in Asia. It's a bet that paid off. The presentations were pragmatic, the conclusions were forthright, and the discussion was very, very candid. If we were looking for proof that there is now a serious and truly diverse constituency working on the implementation of SRI in Asia, we have it. The conference demonstrated that the real task for SRI in Asia is to sharpen the focus on key issues so that markets can do a better job of creating tangible incentives for investors and companies to focus on sustainability.

To get the full flavor of the event, just follow the links in the column on the left to a full range of presentations, pictures, summaries and audio recordings of the sessions.
