SRI Assets In U.S Surged 18 Percent From 2005 To 2007, Outpacing Broader Managed Assets

US Social Investment Forum Trends Report identifies $2.71 trillion in total assets under management using one or more of the three core SRI strategies - screening, shareholder advocacy, and community investing. Nearly one out of every nine dollars under professional management in the US today is involved in SRI.

Carbon Disclosure Request Released

The Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) a collaboration of 385 institutional investors has issued its 2008 information request to the world’s largest corporations. In 2008 it is expected that up to 430 Asian companies ex-Japan will be surveyed, up from 166 in 2007, including the top 100 by market capitalisation in China, 200 in India and 50 in Korea.
