British Consulate-General's "Making Money out of CSR Workshop" Date: 24 February 2004 The British Consulate-General organised a full-day workshop on Tuesday 24 February to explore what exactly we mean Corporate Social Responsiblity or CSR has become something of a sound-bite in business communities around the world. It also looked at how CSR can benefit the bottom line. Key partners for the workshop and for the British Consulate-General's ongoing work in this area include Community Business and the Assoication for Sustainable and Responsible Investment In Asia (ASrIA). The British Consulate-General is also working closely with British diplomatic posts on the mainland, and with the British Council, to promote CSR. Ms. Melissa Brown, Executive Director, Association for Sustainable and Responsible Investment in Asia led a 2-hour breakout session of SRI materiality. |
