ICMIF Biennial Conference: Changing Times, Constant Values Date: 16-18 November, 2005 ASrIA Chair Tessa Tennant will be speaking on the second afternoon of the conference (Thursday 17 November), on the subject of SRI, discussing the wider picture of this field, and drawing on ASrIA's experiences and perspective. This year, our biennial conference takes up the theme, “Changing Times, Constant Values”, and we are currently identifying speakers who we believe will contribute high-level presentations which are timely, meaningful and pertinent to the needs and concerns of ICMIF members, and which ultimately attest to the value of ICMIF membership. Our three-day conference falls under three corresponding areas:
Changing Times, Constant Values Nobody can deny the dramatic transformation that the business world has undergone in recent years, and the financial services sector especially has faced more changes than ever before: stricter supervision and more onerous regulation, demands for greater transparency and expectations of higher service quality, shifting demographic patterns and an evolving risk environment. Meanwhile, among ICMIF members across the world, it is with pride that we recognize that our cooperative and mutual values have remained as strong as ever. At the ICMIF Conference, Singapore 2005, an all-new format that combines high-level speakers and enhanced member interaction, will enable us to address the challenges and identify the opportunities that lie behind the changes, whilst building on the enduring values of mutuality and cooperation that have enabled us to move forward in these exciting times of change. http://www.icmif.org/2k4events/singapore2005/welcome.asp |
