The Supply Chain Talks Back Date: 21-22 November, 2005 Location: Shekou, Shenzhen, China

CSR Asia's first conference will take place on November 21-22 2005 in Shekou, China, just over the border from Hong Kong. Rather than having experts from big companies outline their own CSR policies and programs, our aim is to provide a forum for representatives from the supply chain and other interested parties to speak about CSR and related issues from on the ground.

Speakers will include experts on labour law, human rights, and migrant and factory workers, along with trade union representatives, academics, women's groups and health experts from across the Asia Pacific. It will be highly practical with a focus on tackling real problems encountered by companies wanting to do CSR in the region.

Workshops include: Factory Training and Capacity Building, Reducing Overtime, Engaging of Trade Unions, NGO Mapping, HIV & HBV, Social Security, Occupational Health and Safety, Labour Law and Labour Disputes resolution, Human Rights and Reputation Risk, Stakeholder Dialogue, Environment and Public Health.
