The trio of trade fairs, RENEXPO® / IHE® WoodEnergy / reCONSTRUCT® taking place in Augsburg (near Munich), Germany have established themselves as leading events specifically devoted to renewable energy and energy efficient construction and renovation while concurrently reflecting the high level of internationalisation taking place within the industry. In 2006, the events will draw 22% of its visitors from abroad, as well as a 25% increase in the number of exhibitors from the previous year.

The trade fairs run under the heading "Sustainable Energy Days" and support the EU-Campaign "Sustainable Energy Europe 2005-2008."  The campaign seeks to integrate the public at large in a wide range of activities related to the production or utilisation of renewable energy.

The growing international presence is emphasized by the presentation of Hungary as the official partner country at this year's trade fair. Political and economic delegations will use the international platform in order to present the potential of the Hungarian market for renewable energy. Other international delegations from China, Ireland, Great Britain, Thailand, the Czech Republic, Russia, India and the USA have confirmed attendance.

The event organizer, REECO GmbH, based in Germany, expects over 18,000 visitors and at least 1,600 congress participants to attend the trio of trade fairs from September 28-October 1, 2006. 380 exhibitors will be presenting their products and services at the event. For the first time, the event will expand to occupy three halls in order to meet demand.

You and your members are also invited to exhibit at the fair, particularly within the framework of IBEF® - International Business Exchange Forum. The IBEF® Pavilion provides a platform for international representatives to convene, network, exchange knowledge, and transact business.
