Islamic Finance Asia

Date: February 13-14, 2007
Venue: Raffles City Convention Centre, Singapore

ASrIA is a supporting organisation.

Islamic Finance Singapore 2006 with its theme of ‘Establishing Singapore as an Islamic Financial Hub’ was an undoubted success, attracting 175 participants. Coinciding with the Monetary Authority of Singapore’s decision to allow Singaporean banks to sell Murabaha products and the launch of the FTSE-Yasaar Index on the SGX, the conference theme was both timely and appropriate. Not only did the event attract Islamic financial players, but it also attracted representatives from many conventional financial institutions (private banks, asset managers, insurance companies etc) actively researching into the opportunities of Islamic finance.

Islamic Finance Asia 2007 therefore will be an event that again brings together leading Islamic experts from Asia and beyond with conventional players looking to capitalize on a 400US$ billion opportunity. However in order to offer an event that is not just relevant for the Singapore finance community but relevant for the Asia finance community as a whole, we are widening the conference in both content and speakers.

Complimentary 10% discount off conference package for ASRIA members. Please quote ASRIA when booking on.
