BSR Convening for Extractives Industry in China

BSR and the China International Mining Group are organizing a CSR convening for companies in the extractives industry to discuss sustainable business practices in China's extractives industry and launch a new Extractives Industry Working Group (EIWG). The EIWG is open to foreign and domestic extractives companies and will serve as a unique platform for companies to network, increase awareness and share learnings on key CSR issues. This convening will also serve as the kick-off for a research project that will analyze the root causes underlying CSR challenges for the extractives industry and examine practical examples of how companies have dealt with these challenges. Findings of this research will be
