The presentations will highlight the key role pension funds can play in promoting ESG best practice and also introduce the ESG tools for pension managers which ASrIA developed as part of this project.

This leading-edge report by ASrIA surveys the status of the adoption of ESG factors by Asian government pension funds. The report provides a practical tool-kit as well as studies on proxy-voting and infrastructure investment that are of direct relevance and value to the industry.

Resulting from multiple industry meetings, surveys and engagement, the report is designed to provide reference points, tools and resources for Asian pension fund managers and other stakeholders in the pension fund industry, such as trustees, fund managers and regulators.

Government pension funds have a key role to play in the adoption of ESG analysis by asset managers globally and across the Asian region.

This ground-breaking report is part of a major initiative by ASrIA to engage pension managers and raise levels of best practice across the region.

With thanks to the Asian Development Bank (ADB), an ASrIA member, for their funding and support of the project and to the Government of Switzerland for providing the funding via the ADB.

The briefing will be held at 4:00pm on Wednesday 22nd July, and will close at 6:00pm. Attendance will be on a first come first serve basis, with priority registration being given to ASrIA members. Please RSVP and let us know if you are able to attend. We look forward to seeing you there.
