Low Carbon Economy for Hong Kong: Sector Regulation Report

What are the key challenges facing Hong Kong as it considers its pathway to a low-carbon economy?
Done right, this transition can help Hong Kong become both environmentally sustainable, and economically resilient.  This report looks first at economy-wide issues, then focuses on those sectors that are crucial to Hong Kong’s transition.

The program will open with the study authors presenting their findings and recommendations. The Hong Kong government is then invited to speak, followed by a panel discussion featuring an array of leading companies.  The program will conclude with an interactive discussion on the challenges, opportunities and way forward for a low carbon economy in Hong Kong.
