EIRIS Plans to Set Up Offices in US and Japan

EIRIS Press Release

29 November, 2004

EIRIS is planning to open a US office to support its research on US companies in the Spring of 2005.  The move will be accompanied by the appointment of further researchers in EIRIS’s London office to assist in the coverage of US companies following the agreement between IRRC and EIRIS to cease their present research arrangements as from the completion of the 2004 research programme.

EIRIS will also be opening a representative office in Tokyo while at the same time appointing a number of Japanese speaking researchers in London.

“We have been pleased to have worked with both IRRC and Good Bankers for a number of years in providing an increasingly global service to our clients,” said Peter Webster, EIRIS’s Executive Director.  “We are also pleased that Good Bankers will remain a partner, albeit on a different basis.  Sales of North American and Asia Pacific data have been our largest growth area in the last few years and the work involved has been expanding as more investors apply their approach to Responsible Investment on a global basis.”
