Investor Network on Climate Risk Research Consortium Ceres, WRI "Questions and Answers for Investors on Climate Risk" aims to provide investors worldwide with information to help them respond to the financial risks and investment opportunities posed by climate change. Questions addressed include: * How does climate change create risk for the companies in which we invest? In 2004, Ceres and the World Resources Institute established the INCR Research Consortium in consultation with institutional investors active in addressing climate risk. This collaborative research and engagement effort will identify and assess potential impacts of climate change on investment portfolios. The goal of the Consortium is to help leading institutional investors understand the financial implications of climate change and use that understanding to integrate climate change risks and opportunities into standard portfolio management practices. The Consortium is organized under the auspices of the Investor Network on Climate Risk that was created in 2003 by U.S. institutional investors managing over $700 billion in assets. "Questions and Answers for Investors on Climate Risk" is available for downloading free of charge from the following three websites: * Investor Network on Climate Risk (http://www.incr.com) If you have questions or would like additional information, please contact INCR Research Consortium Co-Directors Chris Fox of Ceres (fox@ceres.org or 617-247-0700 x15) or Fred Wellington of the World Resources Institute (fwellington@wri.org or 202-729-7672).
