Responsible Research Hosts Seminars on Beverages in Asia: Issues for Responsible Investors in Singapore and Hong Kong Date: June 11, 2010

(Responsible Research) – On June 9th 2010, the findings of the Responsible Research report on the issues for responsible investors in the beverages industry in Asia was launched at a luncheon seminar in Singapore. The report reviews the Environmental, Social and Governance risks embedded in the brewers, bottlers and beverages sectors, such as water scarcity, emissions, sustainable sourcing and responsible drinking, as well as benchmarking the leading companies from MSCI Asia ex Japan against the performance of five global players. The report was commissioned by Arisaig partners, a boutique investment management company based in Singapore, who are signatories of the UN Principles of Responsible Investment and the luncheon was hosted by Diageo Asia Pacific, who are one of the global leaders on sustainability identified in this report.
