KEY Characteristics:
The KBC Water Fund invests in the water industry ranging from the treatment of waste water, through to companies that make pipes, pumps and valves. The water industry also includes environmental controls such as metering and new technology such as desalination. The fund invests in a diversified portfolio of around 60 stocks, with a split of 20% large cap and 80% small cap companies. There is exposure to defensive, cyclical and secular stocks. All stocks are taken through an SRI screen prior to investments being made. This is to ensure each company has sustainable policies in place.
