The fund's investment approach incorporates objective research, evaluation criteria relevant to the Japanese market, positive screening techniques and active portfolio management, aimed to maximize the Fund’s investment performance. Based on the philosophy that socially responsible companies will create sustainable value in the mid-to-long term, the fund, in selecting stocks, applies the following investment criteria’s; commendable corporate governance, respectable environmental performance, and high state of compliance in terms of CSR. The performance of the fund is benchmarked by TOPIX. The “AIG/Resona Japan CSR Fund” invests in Japanese equities and operates in the form of a family fund, only available to investors located within Japan. AIG Investments’ Japan SRI equity strategy is available to investors outside of Japan on a separate account basis.
