The fund's investment approach incorporates objective research, evaluation criteria relevant to the Japanese market, positive screening techniques and active portfolio management, aimed to maximize the Fund’s investment performance. The fund first builds a base portfolio based on research on both earnings growth potential and stability, and then selects those target companies that are highly rated in terms of the state of CSR compliance. Asset allocation into equity tends to remain high. The Japan CSR Fund "Class G" invests in Japanese equities and is only available to investors located within Japan. AIG Investments’ Japan SRI equity strategy is available to investors outside of Japan on a separate account basis.
