The fund focuses on high growth public and private companies that offer technological solutions to the world's growing environmental, energy security and resource challenges. Holdings are predominantly in listed equity shares and near IPO private equity positions in companies operating profitably in clean energy and environmental technology fields. "

"Specifically, the fund seeks to invest in companies delivering technology solutions or outperforming their peers in four fields: clean energy, environmental technology, water and waste management. Clean energy encompasses natural gas, solar and wind energy, biofuel substitutes, hydro, clean coal technology, micro-generation and nuclear energy. Environmental technology includes carbon light products, LED and fuel cells, whilst water includes supply, purification and treatment. Waste management is a high growth area we expect to become a major investment area for us as it matures."

The fund is typically long biased with short positions in companies suffering excessive energy costs or incurring significant pollution risks. Currency movements and broad market exposure can be hedged out to protect gains. Maximums: 50% cash; 50% short; 50% gearing Asia-Pacific based companies Maximum 10% of AUM invested outside Asia-Pacific in clean energy companies investing in Asia-Pacific.
