The New Zealand Superannuation Fund is an investment fund that accumulates and invests Government contributions. The Fund began investing in September 2003 with $2.4 billion in cash. As at 31 October 2006 the Fund's assets totalled $11.2 billion. It is expected to grow to around $120 billion by 2025, making it one of the largest funds in Australasia.
