The UNIFEM fund aims to promote empowerment to women by mostly investing in companies with equal rights and fair treatment to women. This is a fairly unique SRI product to focus primarily on women's issues. This is not a fully-fledged SRI fund, but demonstrates an encouraging awareness of social issues.     The UNIFEM fund is approved by the Government as a valid fund choice for the Central Provident Fund (the Singapore Government administered pension scheme).
