The fund invests globally in equities of companies operating in or profiting from the agricultural industry and targets all parts of the agribusiness chain, which is believed to be one of the fastest growing market segments. The fund is theme-based globally and intends to invest from agricultural commodities to consumer products. It invests in promising companies in land and plantation, seed and fertilizer, planting, harvesting, protecting and irrigation, food processing and manufacturing companies, offering investors the opportunity to capture value at various points along the "food chain".
