The fund seeks to achieve long term capital appreciation by investing principally in selected component stocks of the KLSI. The fund is suitable to investors who are comfortable with the performance and price volatility of component stocks with large market capitalization in the KLSI, and thus willing to take a less risky approach or rather moderate risk in investing. Stocks selected are all approved investments by the Securities Commission's Shariah Advisory Council. The fund would primarily focus on larger capitalization stocks constituted by main board companies which have been designated as Shariah approved securities, which make up the KLSI.
