OSK-UOB Muhibbah Income Fund predominantly invests in Islamic debt securities of Malaysian incorporated companies, but seeks some equity exposure investing in Shariah-compliant securities of companies listed on the local and/or foreign markets expected to offer high growth potential and/or good dividend yield over a medium to long term period. The fund also emphasizes that it is concerned with socially responsible investing and ethical issues, such as drugs and tobacco, proliferation of weapons, pollution and fair labour practices. The fund's indicative asset allocation strategy is as follows: equity (maximum 40% or less of NAV) and fixed income portfolios such as Malaysian Islamic debt securities/instruments, money market instruments, cash and Shariah-based deposits (60% or more of NAV).
