I thought the conference went extremely well. Great group of very engaged people. I thought you introduced exactly the right tone. Very relaxed, informal yet formal and encouraged people to think. I really think you created awareness which I am sure was a key goal. I saw one fund manager in particular across the room who I would not have expected to see there - good sign!

I thought the morning was really good in giving us all an overview of what SRI means, what it is trying to achieve, what is already being done and what needs to be done. In addition, the second session started to highlight some of the enormous difficulties and conflicts involved. I found it extremely useful, informative and thought-provoking.

Obviously I don't know exactly what your objectives were, but I'm sure that preeminent amongst them in your inaugural conference would have been to generate interest and exposure for Asria in this region. I am sure that it achieved this, and therefore was undoubtedly a success. It provoked interesting, wide-ranging discussion and debate, and attracted attendees from a great variety of occupations and backgrounds. It also closed in a thought provoking and encouraging way with Anthony Neoh's speech. The event was well run, in a convenient location and had a good mix of formal and informal, serious and yet not too serious. For all of this I think you and your team are to be highly congratulated. It cannot have been easy launching something of this nature, and I can only imagine the thought, time and energy expended in making it happen. Truly very well done.
