James Muir is a Consultant with ERM Asia-Pacific who has assisted a number of corporations in Europe, India and Hong Kong (including BP, Cairn India and MTRC) to develop and implement sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility strategies. He was lead researcher for ERM's thinkpiece entitled "Rating the Raters" which compared SRI indices world-wide and
queried whether major financial liabilities could be identified through the research methods currently used by the major indices. James has been with ERM for over four years and has been based in Oxford, London, Edinburgh and Hong Kong. Prior to this, he obtained Master's Degrees from Oxford and Warwick Universities.
