SPEAKER BIOS

Peter Wong has a long, distinguished career of over 30 years in Hong Kong public services.

Currently, he is a Senior Partner with Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu, Hong Kong and an adviser to the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government. He is a member of the Chief Executive, Mr. Tung Chee Hwa's think tank, namely The Commission on Strategic Development. Also, he chairs the Advisory Council on the Environment as well as the Social Welfare Advisory Committee. Among his other public appointments, he is a member of the Housing Authority and the Elderly Commission.

Internationally, he sits as a Board Member of the International Federation of Accountants.

Mr. Wong has been associated with many important initiatives/developments in Hong Kong over the past three decades.
