SPEAKER BIOS

Robert Rosen has been involved in the SRI industry in Australia for 15 years. He was a founding director of the first ethical investment unit trust manager and an architect of the first environmental equities fund established in Australia. He was an authorised investment adviser for 7 years and the director of licensed security dealer specialising in SRI for 3 years. He has carried out extensive social and environmental research of Australian listed companies and written and lectured extensively on SRI and related issues. He is a regular columnist for Ethcal Investor Magazine, a director of the Ethical Investment Association of Australia and a member of ASrIA's Board of Advisers.

Robert has also been active in the community investment sector having been a Director of both a community based loan fund and a community credit union. He has also been active in the environmental movement in Australia for over twenty years. Positions have included National Secretary of the Australian Green Party, Director of Permaculture International Limited and member of the Finance Committee of Greenpeace Australia.
