SRI IN THE ROCKIES

A Special Invitation to A Very Special Conference
Early Registration Discount Ends as of July 20th

SRI in the Rockies is the national gathering of the U.S. socially responsible investment industry. As a member of this extraordinary community of people and organizations working to weave social justice and environmental sustainability into the fabric of our global economy, we hope you will choose to join us for the 12th annual SRI in the Rockies Conference.

This year’s prestigious gathering of professionals, practitioners and organizations will begin with cocktails and networking late Sunday afternoon, September 9th. We will work and learn and plan and dance together through noon on Wednesday, September 12th. We invite you to join us for a few days at the Sheraton El Conquistador Resort and Country Club in Tucson, Arizona.

The early payment discount of $90 will disappear on July 20, 2001. Act now to take advantage of early registration discount pricing. Registration forms and checks postmarked on or before July 20th will qualify for the discount.

SRI in the Rockies is produced by First Affirmative Financial Network in partnership with the Social Investment Forum. The generous sponsorship of
many social investment industry service providers makes this conference exceptionally affordable. The conference is open to all practitioners and investment professionals who feel they could benefit from an outstanding series of educational sessions and from a focused opportunity to network with hundreds of other like-minded individuals and organizations.

Paul Ray, author of Cultural Creatives: How 50 Million People Are Changing the World, will be with us in Tucson. His research into the Cultural Creative “world view” has been extraordinarily helpful in nderstanding the huge and largely untapped market for social investment services. Federal Reserve Board Governor, Ned Gramlich, will also be joining us for a short
time to provide us with an update on the economy and Fed policies.

As in years past, the agenda will offer two tracks. The “professional track” will focus on investment topics and practice management issues.

Within our “social issues” track we will be featuring a panel of high level executives from Coke, IBM and Merck who will discuss “Fortune 500 Perspectives on Corporate Social Responsibility.” There will be a
stimulating presentation on “New Theories of Fiduciary Responsibility” which will feature the authors of a new book entitled Fiduciary Capitalism. Of course, there will be a session on Shareholder Advocacy, and the Social Investment Forum will preview the launch of its One Percent in Community
Campaign.

The 2001 SRI Service Award will be presented at the conference again this year. We will also announce the winner of the social investment industry’s Moskowitz Prize for excellence in academic research. And once again, the conference will host the Social Investment Forum’s annual membership meeting. Look for the release of the Forum’s 2001 Trends Report. It
promises to be an extraordinary year for the social investment industry and for SRI in the Rockies.

You will find a Registration Form attached that you can use to reserve your place at the conference. Or you can register online at www.sriintherockies.com. Your registration fee includes attendance at all
sessions, receptions, breaks, social events, nine meals (dinner on Sunday through lunch on Wednesday), taxes and gratuities. Your entire registration fee is due before July 20, 2000 in order to receive the early payment discount.

You will need to make travel and hotel arrangements separately from your conference registration. To make your hotel reservations, call the Sheraton
directly at 1-800-325-7832. Be sure to mention that you are with the “SRI in the Rockies group” so that you receive our group discount.

The Sheraton El Conquistador Resort and Country Club is about 40 minutes from the Tucson airport and approximately a 90-minute drive from the Phoenix
airport. Several airlines provide direct service to both Tucson and Phoenix.

Complete and return a registration form, along with your registration fee to SRI in the Rockies, P.O. Box 6904, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80934. And
please feel free to call with questions.

A few sponsorship opportunities are still available. If you are interested, please call for more information. You will find links to all conference sponsors and to the Sheraton El Conquistador at www.sriintherockies.com.

Watch the website as the conference agenda evolves and becomes finalized over the next few weeks.

We expect nearly 450 participants in the 2001 SRI in the Rockies Conference. We hope you will be one of them! We look forward to seeing you in Tucson,
September 9-12, 2001.

Sincerely, Steve
