UNEP FI Regional Outreach Event - Africa

On the 28th and 29th of January 2002, UNEP FI will hold a conference for the financial sector in Africa. The event will be hosted by the Development Bank of Southern Africa (DBSA), in Midrand, South Africa, and aims to address the role of the African financial sector in the progression of sustainable development.

The objective of the conference is to highlight and encourage the active participation of diverse African financial institutions within the dynamics of sustainability. Both financial sector and non-financial sector participation is welcome to this no fee event.

Day 1: The Financial Sector in Africa: The Business Case for Sustainability Performance.
Day 2: Foreign Direct Investment: Creating a Sustainability Dynamic.
